I love that. So simply “the kindness of strangers.”

A waitress, who is Albanian, explained that when her father died, the Albanians here (whom she didn’t really know) offered her any support she needed. She said it was a great comfort during her loss.

I’ve received a lot of generosity while hiking–food, hitching a ride, sometimes even just a point in the right direction.
Most memorable, though, was during a trip in Tuscany, Italy. We arrived by train in a small town late at night. We weren’t sure where our rented cottage was, and didn’t have the means to call for a taxi. We walked into town and found an open restaurant. They took us in, comforted us, made us a meal, arranged for a room at the local inn, and even called for a taxi to pick us up once we had finished dinner.
There’s more to the story, but I’ll save that for later.
This design is incredible! You definitely know how to keep a reader entertained.
Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my
own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Great job. I really enjoyed what you had to say,
and more than that, how you presented it. Too cool!
