Thank you for the Light of a New Day, Creator!

Each day, and each moment, holds something powerful and magical, Creator.  There is a peace in that knowledge, for me.  When I tap into the peace of each moment, that becomes my balance point.  Then, whether the events of the moment, or my thoughts occurring in the moment, stay on a deep and steady course, or pivot in a sharp change of direction, the peace and foundation are always present.  Thank you for that, Universe.

There is always change.  The weather changes, and the amount of daylight each day; how much energy we have, and how many gray hairs and wrinkles.  Birth and death.

Throughout all the changes, great and small, we can stay connected to values of understanding and compassion, grounded in Authenticity and Integrity.  This is a dynamic process – while we hold our Truth and Values, it can serve us to be willing to let go of thoughts and false beliefs that aren’t serving us.

When we continue to hang on to old thoughts and beliefs, out of stubbornness, habit, or fear, we can get a type of rope-burn.  It’s about health and healing, to be willing to evolve and grow with the World around us.

Yesterday, I talked about taking the time to reflect on my 2015, and how I created a process that would work for me.

It’s important to take that look back from time to time.  Too often, we are hyper-focused on what’s ahead for us.  And, while it’s important to peer in the direction we’re travelling, in order to navigate; it can get overwhelming, seeing a never-ending, never-completed list of goals and possibilities.

To occasionally glance in our rear-view mirror and remind ourselves where we started, what we’ve faced and overcome, and celebrate our accomplishments and efforts; we can tap into energy and confidence in our ability to navigate and balance, in our resourcefulness and resilience, in our core strength of connection and love.

When we take a look back, it gives us a different perspective.  We are reminded that the successes in our lives all began at a transition point, often tumultuous, emotional, and challenging in some way.  It is powerful information, to understand how we managed and navigated the stormy seas of change, persevered, to once again find calm waters, cool breezes, and a sense of peace.

Because, change will come again; there will be more storms – loss, grief, frustration, challenge.  So, the important lesson isn’t what you did; but that you did it, and how you did it.

These are tools and strategies to use in your best interest.  Need focus?  Try building a list, getting it down, committing to it, and employing accountability.  Need motivation and hope?  Look at what you’ve already accomplished; who you were and who you are now; and who and how you want to be.

There’s no one way to do any of this.  It’s about choices.  Choose what helps you move in the direction you want to go.  And start, by choosing that direction.

Thanks for always showing me My True North, Guides!
