Good Morning, Great Universe –
Looking outside this morning, Dear Creator, there’s a gentle, steady snow falling. It’s just starting to accumulate, but it is beautiful, and soothing to watch. I remember, again, the serenity of a snowfall.
The snow here isn’t supposed to last or accumulate, but looks to be significant in other parts of the Northeast. On the second day of spring.
I have friends who I can imagine declaring “No! No more snow! I’m ready for spring!” The reality is, though, that today gives snow, and I’m glad I am simply opening to its peace and beauty.
Thank you, Nature Mother, for this gift of Nature and the seasons.
Dear Guides, each morning recently, I’ve awakened tired, and I’ve set the intention to get to sleep earlier that night and get the rest I need. But, I’ve also had other intentions – to write and share my Sunrise Pages; to imagine, create, and share my creating joy program; to bring daily movement and exercise to my life; and, most recently, to read Diana, Herself.
That’s a lot. I’ve done most of it, most days. At the cost, though, of my rest.
I’m asking for help, Dear Guides – which is certainly my way of re-prioritizing my list, moving rest to the top.
As I watch the peaceful snowfall, I realize my power to choose – and I choose rest.
So, I will keep today’s writing relatively brief, knowing this action will serve my purpose, my intention tonight. Early to bed!
My Prompt for You:
What do you need? What does your body call for? How can you choose to give that to yourself?
Dear Guides, thank you for supporting my self-care and well-being!
