Greetings to the New Day!
Another day begins, Dear Guides! It looks and feels just like other days – but we just never know.
How will you react to that not knowing? In fear and doubt, will you try to maintain everything exactly where it is?
Or, will you embrace your True Hero Nature, traveling forward, excited to see what the new day brings? Hopeful for new opportunities, resolute to puzzle-solve and overcome any obstacles, and certain that it will all make for exciting adventure.
Life is about the living – not just the hanging on, grinding through as a grim duty.
Our Hero’s Journey is about episodes that entertain and educate – when we see it from our Observer’s perspective. Frustrating setback or difficult challenge? We click into problem-solving mode, tapping into our creative self, and that playful, fun energy. Plus, we learn about ourselves, what we are capable of, and we take on new skills to practice and master along the way.
Each episode presents new challenges that require new strategies and new skills. We also see our own transformation – physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Remember that other reaction to not knowing – the fear and doubts, thinking “I can’t?” That’s your lizard brain reminding you of the stories from your past, but lying to you about the endings. Because, the truth is – you made it! You survived all your previous challenges, and here you are – stronger, smarter, more understanding, more experienced, and more capable! You are well on your way, on your Hero’s Journey!

Today, meditate at your Sit Spot. Invite your True Hero Nature to join you. Enjoy her/his presence, feel her/his Energy and Confidence. S/he has a gift to give you, some object or symbol.
