Sunrise Pages May

Good Morning, Dear Creator!

Today is overcast, with a steady, cool northern breeze blowing.  It’s Sunday morning, and everything is quiet, like the whole town is sleeping in.

Yesterday evening, I came home from work really tired.  I struggled through my evening – tired, cranky, and uncomfortably warm.  I almost opted to just go straight to bed around 8:30, but instead decided to type at least a little of my Sunrise Pages for the day.

At some point, I suddenly heard the start of a rain shower outside.  The temperature dropped, a breeze blew, and the heavy burst of rain was such a relief, in the moment, that it made me a little emotional.

There was a cleansing to it, a break for me, from something that wasn’t working.

If I had gone to bed, I wouldn’t have experienced that Moment of Joy from the little rainstorm.

I don’t believe any action is right or wrong.  It’s like I mentioned yesterday – even in the midst of fog, there is minute beauty.  Wonder.  Blessings of Abundance.

It’s about opening up.  When we are open-hearted, we are free.  When we are free, we see the Wonder, we appreciate the Blessings, and we understand the opportunities that are offered.

There is no “Right Way.”  Every way, and any choice, is a step that leads to another step, another choice, and different opportunities.

Clear, open mind.  Open, loving heart.  You are well.  You are safe.  You dwell in peace.

My Prompt for Today:

Dear One, write me a comment sharing your greatest joy and biggest surprise of the last week.
