The Magic of Now, Dear Creator!
We are entering a warm and sunny stretch of weather here in the Northeast. But, dangerous and deadly weather has been hitting other parts of the country – tornadoes and floods in the Midwest and South, and this week, incredibly hot temperatures in the Southwest. This is a moment for me to be mindful, grateful, and accepting of What Is.
Today is a cornerstone of my life, of who I am. And, I don’t mean this date on the calendar, or in history. I mean my present, this current day; each and every moment of Now, when I can choose, or re-choose and correct, my direction and trajectory.
It begins with my choice to see Today full of potential and opportunity. The River of Change in the Universe offers me hope. The current of the River means change will come; the choices I make, and which forks I take, can bring me ever-closer to my goals and dreams.
I don’t want to just look forward to my future, without engaging in some action or energy today. It’s a sneaky lizard brain strategy, to look down the road with hope, yet not take any turtle step action today; to be controlled by the fears and feelings of risk and vulnerability, but convince ourselves we are making movement.
And, we are. But, here’s the way it breaks down – Feeling hopeful is more powerful than dwelling in negativity. Holding specific goals and intentions will create a channel for the hope we feel. Identifying turtle steps toward our goals and intentions can blaze the trail for us. Accomplishing our turtle steps, and taking action – risking vulnerability and moving toward our dreams – is the greatest, most dramatic way to manifest the change we want to see in our life.
Today is the time to act, with clarity and purpose. Let’s create what we desire.
Today’s Prompt:
BRG’s and Turtle Steps –
How have you been doing with creating and doing your Turtle Steps?
If you just focus on your BRG, it can seem too big and intimidating. That may be what has been stopping you.
If you want change, start with laughably small Turtle Steps. One a day. If you don’t accomplish it, then cut it in half and try again tomorrow. Really!
We are talking about building a practice that establishes success and courage by overcoming fear and vulnerability.
Start Today!
Today is the seed of my life, and I will tend and nurture it, every Today. Thank you, My Guides!
