Moving Forward, Generous Creator!
It looks like we’re going to receive another gorgeous day here today – bright skies, warm temperatures, and low humidity. What a treat! And, last night’s Sleep Scale: 4/5.
Once again, I’m pulling myself to continue to move, to build traction and momentum toward what I want. There was a lot of that yesterday, and it felt good.
After I wrote my Pages in the morning, and typed and posted the Pages from the day before, I did indeed take a Turtle Step toward de-cluttering and order. It was a simple step of data entry and shredding to clean up a good portion of my desk. It felt good to create a little system, and to see some progress as my desktop cleared.
I celebrated the morning’s work by going to play a quick nine holes of golf, which, truth be told, is another stress point for me when I don’t have mates joining me. It wasn’t busy at the little course I played, so I teed it up alone, able to move along nicely without feeling rushed at all. And, I actually scored pretty well, too.
When I returned home, I continued to pick up in the office/spare room, which does have a deadline, because we have guests staying over Friday night. So, I made a little more progress there.
I ran an errand to verify where I need to be tomorrow morning for an Outdoor Discovery School event we’re doing with kids. I’m looking forward to that, and I now know where I’m heading for that.
Then, I came home and decided to play with the watercolor pencil set my wife got me during our Anniversary trip last month. I’ve been itching to bust them out and try, but I’ve been hesitating, in my usual self-conscious way. Last night, though, I started.
And, finally, I made the commitment to start working with a mentor to craft my coaching business. I love coaching too much, and I want to connect and share with as many people as possible. Again, I’m finally taking an action step to move toward what I want.
Today’s Prompt:
Dear One, I’ve said it before – it comes to a point that you’ve thought everything through, you know what you want, or at least the direction you want to start to go, and all that’s left is – To Do.
To do something.
Otherwise, all that energy created from thinking, dreaming, and desiring will weaken and can even turn negative.
You’ve built up your potential energy, and you just need to put it into action – that First Step!
Taking action in the direction of My North Star! YES, My Dear Guides!
Great Job Ray- The desk looks great and I love your gold finch picture and a good round of golf. Keep up the steps, I’m also doing a little bit of organizing my desk.
