Peace, Divine Universe –

It’s another foggy morning in our valley.  It seems to be the routine lately.

It’s a short turn-around day today – I closed the store last night, and I’m back in for 8 a.m. this morning.  I’ll tell you, Dear Pilgrim, I am just feeling beat.  It started before the end of day last night.  I think I slept pretty soundly, but right now I feel exhausted, and in my own fog – Sleep Scale: 3/5.

The alarm on my phone did not perform correctly again this morning.  I must have changed some setting, because all it was doing this morning was vibrating, but not chiming the alarm.  I want to remember to test it during the day today, to figure out what’s wrong, rather than doubt it working correctly tomorrow morning.

I feel unsteady this morning.  It’s an important lesson for me, on how important my rest is to me.  How I feel, though, seems out of proportion with how small my sleep deficit was last night.  I’m thinking there’s something else possibly going on.

Before diving into any of that – more coffee.

One thing I think I will appreciate later is that, because my workday is beginning early, I’ll be done early this evening.  I’ve already decided that I will spend this evening and tonight answering the questionnaire for my mentor.  There are some really great questions, and I want to give it the proper time and effort.  I want to finish and submit it this weekend, to allow my mentor time to review it before we talk.

So, part of that choice means that I’m also going to set aside posting these Pages until I’ve completed the questionnaire.

I think a part of my fatigue is soulful.  I felt so full, running and listening to Liz Gilbert’s “Magic Lessons” podcast episodes.  These last two days in the store, in comparison, have drained me.  Valuable information, Dear Pilgrim.
