Blessings, My Dear Creator –
I am grateful that you have created a world and a universe that hold the space and time for my one, magical life – that offer me literal and figurative morning after morning, opportunity after opportunity for awakening, adventure, and journeying toward my dreams.
How magical is it that, when I haven’t been rising early enough to meet the sunrise, the sunrise waits a little bit later each day for me?
The sky this morning is a full gray overcast, marching slowly eastward, with odd and discordant shades painted by the obscured rising sun.
Yet, a small hole appears, the wall of cloud seems to thin, and bright blue sky can be seen. It’s sometimes a challenge to remember that above and beyond the nasty, dark storm clouds we see, bright, blue skies shine on with the sun.
Last night, my wife and I both wrote. Just lovely, that energy of creating and expressing. Shedding the shackles of perfection, to offer and allow our own unique movements, words, and phrases, to dance with Creativity itself in Integrity and Truth.
So, I worked on my questionnaire last night, making progress. It’s like so many other things – when we take our time, and get really mindful about Where We Are and What Matters to Us – it is a journey of Self-Discovery.
Why, Dear One, do we so often resist going that deep?
Sleep was good, and alarm woes are hopefully resolved. I’m up early today to write and post something before work. Sleep Scale: 4/5.
I’m scheduled on-water today, but no participants means that I will likely be in-store. Then, home to maybe finish up and submit my questionnaire.

Dear One, what would artistic self-expression be for you today? Will you dare to give yourself permission to go there and do that thing?
What do you see as the obstacles in your way? Is it possible that you use these obstacles as protection from what you think is the hard and risky work of creating?
Will you dare to create some art and express yourself today?
