Stillness, Gentle Spirit –
It’s a cloudless sky, this morning, and the eastern horizon brightens with the dawn, as the temperature dips below freezing.
In the brightness of the rising sun, the peak autumn colors blaze, even as I notice that the number of bare branches has increased. Soon, the brilliant colors of fall will fade, and the leaves will fall.
Simplicity and Authenticity, Pilgrim. When I’m operating in a situation, or on a level, where I feel overwhelmed, I know that it can be different. Simpler. More basic and true.
I am realizing that I can step back, and stay true to myself and honor what I need – to breathe, to maintain balance, and to be and bring my best, most truthful self.
Yet, even as I sit here and write, considering those situations, I recognize the concerns I carry in considering choices of simplicity, truth, and self-care – what will others think; will I let people down; will I not meet expectations; will they find me wanting and not enough?
Dear One, this is where Authenticity and Integrity live. I want to be and bring my best, fullest self, to open and share my full heart with the World. To love and be loving.
I believe that is, essentially, a simple practice. It is not a complex, complicated, ever-increasing volume of rules and procedures, if-then statements to qualify and measure when and how much love to give.
The answer is – All, Always.
And, I believe that, for me, the route to that is to fully live in my Integrity. So, I am going to focus on practicing Integrity, and fully living My Truth. I believe this goes hand-in-hand with my current intention of removing my “fear glasses.”
I also intend to share my Integrity journey with you, Dear One. So, hang on!
Let me offer this Prompt:
Day in and day out, Dear One, we face decisions little and big, where part of our consideration is the effect our choices will have on others, and how they will react.
That’s natural, and a part of being human and social beings.
Yet, when we go against what we need to do and who we need to be, we stop regarding and honoring ourselves. We lose ourselves.
It’s time to realize that it’s just as bad as dishonoring another. It hurts us, and disables us from bringing and being our very best selves.
Which actually limits what we are able to give and share with others.
Honoring All means honoring ourselves, as well. Important reminder – Thank You, Dear Guides!
