Wonders, Abundant Universe!
With the time change, I’m again getting up with the dawn. It’s a crystal clear morning, a single contrail cutting from the northeastern to southern sky. There’s a frost on the ground, as temperatures have dropped to the mid-20’s.
In the shadowlands before the sunrise, I spotted a shape on an otherwise bare tree. I waited, and it finally moved to another branch, so I wasn’t just imagining it. I also began to hear its short, sharp chirp. As the sky continued to brighten, I grew more and more sure of the bird’s color. As it flew away, its distinct flight pattern assured me that I had spotted my first morning cardinal of the season.
Perhaps snow is not far behind.
I enjoy starting my day this way – a chill in the air, steaming cup of coffee by my side, pen in hand, blank piece of paper on clipboard, cozying under a down blanket – ready to open up to the muse and magic of the creative Universe.
A thread of connection runs between us, Dear One. It begins in this moment, when I listen to my heart, guided by the Divine. Ink and motion fill each page, which I dare to post.
It’s up to you, then, to click on a link or image, and to read the creation inspired in this unique moment.
Thank you for joining me, and sharing my journey. I am fortunate to have your support and connection, and I hope you are receiving something special from our connection, as well.
Yesterday was satisfying. I wrote, I posted two days’ Pages, I ran 5 miles, I listened to the second audio call of the DIY Integrity Cleanse Kit (digital), I dusted and vacuumed, and I meditated. Without feeling rushed, I got to and through all the things I wanted to experience for my day.
It’s a good feeling.
A Prompt for Today:
Dear One, ready or not, we’re moving into the holiday season. What a great opportunity to practice all these lessons we’ve been learning – self-care and self-awareness, noticing our Sense of Integrity, risking vulnerability, and turning our fear into rocket fuel.
Practice stillness regularly, Dear One. Remember – you are well; you are safe; you reside in peace and happiness.
From that sacred place, open to those around you, with loving-compassion!
When we know we are safe and loved, we can open ourselves to give and receive with those around us. What a Blessing, Dear Guides!
