Soaking in Time, My Dear Creator!

So, here we meet again.  The weather’s changing, from the warmth and sunshine we experienced yesterday to rain and cold, shifting to snow, for a couple days.  We’re close to the line for some possible accumulation, so we’ll see what we get.

Dear Creator, why did I mention time in my greeting?  What is the message you have for me today?

This week felt a bit chaotic and frazzled.  Why?  Some plans changed, unexpectedly; I didn’t get to things I intended; and, also, I feel called to make some choices soon that are – what? – large, dangerous, daring, reckless, the opposite of responsible – the stuff I need to let go of, to move forward, and get the life I want.

Ray: dHarma, it seems like such a huge, crazy leap, the things I’m thinking.  I wonder if it’s just mid-life crisis rearing its head.

dHarma: You always get to choose.  You can choose to spend your life wondering what might have been; if there was more that your life was meant to be, and could have been, for you.  Or, you can explore and find out.

Knowing to do – right?  You always have to let go of the life you have, to get the life that you want.  You can’t stand in two boats on the water at the same time.

Ray, I know you’re thinking, “It’s going to be hard.  It’s so scary.”  But, you can just let it be easy, Ray.  Not easy, meaning you won’t have to work for it.  But, easy in that you are doing, for sure, what you know to doEnjoy that.  Soak that energy and pure purpose in.

Remember, the truth tastes of freedom, like the ocean tastes of salt.

A Prompt for you:

Dear One, do dHarma’s words to me ring true for you, as well?

As we move forward, we sometimes reach a point when the next step is a stretch, and we’re suddenly back to doubting ourselves.

It’s like the crux of a rock climb – that one point that makes or breaks the entire climb.

My friend called the crux the moment to “try and fly.”  He said that if you don’t try, you’ll never know whether you could do it.  If you try and you fail, you’ll at least know.  And, you might try, and find out that you could accomplish more than you thought yourself capable.

Dear One, what is the crux of your climb, right now?

It’s time to Try and Fly!  Thank you, dHarma, and all my guiding spirits!
