What If, Dear Creator?
There is an overcast of gray clouds this morning. For a moment, though, this cloud cover blanketed across the sky was painted with fiery, glowing reds. A minute later, the red was subdued and fading. Two minutes after that, there was barely and sign of the brilliance of that moment.
What if I hadn’t looked out at that moment, Dear One? How many magical sunrises or sunsets have I missed, just because I didn’t look out or up at the right moment?
What if I spent less time viewing screens, and more time actively engaging in life? What if I spent more time meditating – holding space and cultivating calm, rather than subjecting myself to the superficial, to the steady barrage of indifference, negativity, and overwhelm?
What if I nurtured my sensitive, caring nature and positive attitude? What if I was solid and grounded in My Truth, and confidently and comfortably radiated My Love and Warmth with the world?
What if I drew close and connected regularly with the souls of My Tribe, and we weaved a blanket of prosperity and compassion to hold and wrap around us all?
What if My Purpose is deeper and fuller than just waking up each morning and tip-toeing through this small version of a life I’ve made?
What if I dare to go bigger? Fuller? Deeper? More?
This holiday season, I find myself continuing to come back to the lyric – “Let there be Peace on earth, and let it begin with me.”
What if IT’S TIME?
And so, Today’s Prompt:
My Dear One, for far too long, I’ve just assumed that I am too plain and ordinary, or even less than that, to do anything “special” or worthwhile.
The truth is, regular people do special things every day, by opening their hearts and being generous.
I realize that when I share myself, through my writing or art, or when sharing my time and attention, I’m giving something special that no one else can give.
Dear One, your heart, your time, and your attention are your unique gifts; something special that you can share.
And, when you give from your heart, you will be rewarded with connection and community. With Purpose.
