Clarity, Glorious Universe –

Today is overcast, and temperatures are expected to rise to at least freezing, perhaps even higher.  There’s a chance for snow flurries tonight or tomorrow, which could be a nice addition for our snowshoe tour scheduled on the 23rd, the eve of Christmas Eve.

Dear One, I’ve shared my perspective on a range of topics throughout this year.  I wonder how cohesive and integrated it all seems to you.

Just yesterday, I wrote about the effect of the ripples we create through our energy and actions; while I also meditated on what it means to nourish – both ourselves and others.  I also had a conversation with a friend about the importance of self-care.

There was a time, for me, when efforts like these all seemed to oppose one another; when I felt I would have to drop all other intentions to wholly pursue one.  That, frankly, was confusing, frustrating, and dispiriting.

Now, though, I see an integration of how these things fit together.  I think a lot of it has to do with the space I’ve found in meditation, and the larger perspective I’ve gained with mindful awareness.

Yesterday, for example, began with my consideration of ripples.  Within that, I could see choice.  And effect.  I didn’t take it further, into responsibility or “should;” I simply noticed.

Then, I found myself contemplating what it means to nourish, and I considered how my choices can either nourish or deplete; add or subtract; build up or tear down – myself, and/or others.  Again, no “should;” just awareness.

Finally, the concept of self-care seemed to circle it all back around.  Through the choices that I make, I can either be healthy and make positive ripples, or not.

This is where practicing my sense of integrity comes in, helping me to notice all three aspects within each choice that I make, and could make.

Here is a Prompt to consider:

All things are related, Dear One.  Such is the nature of our world.

Do you have two seemingly opposite wishes or intentions?  Something where you believe you can’t possibly have both at the same time?

Instead of telling yourself that it’s absolutely impossible to have both, I challenge you to find evidence of someone who has already done it.

Stuck?  Then, share your challenge with me.  Let’s talk, and solve your puzzle together.  Brilliant Conversations!

We are all just walking each other home.  Thanks for walking with me, My Dear Guides!
