This afternoon, I was playing with long exposure photographs.  I love how the change in time-frame transforms movement in an image.  Things go from snapshot clarity to flow.

Consider this—the effect we see in long exposure photographs is somewhat similar to the transformation that occurs with meditation.

When we meditate, we can alter our time reference—we step back and stretch ourselves beyond the snapshot of a moment.  From our perspective, we see ourselves as still while all flows around us.  In our stillness, we can see the threads of connectivity of all that changes.

And, we see the beauty and flow of change.

This can help us establish and maintain our peace and connection with the world around us.

And, who doesn’t want that?
